Terms of Service

1. General provisions
1.1. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of the MiStatus online service (the “Service”), including the website and the Telegram bot, provided by Администрацией Сервиса MiStatus.
1.2. By using the Service — including launching the bot, registering, paying for services, or obtaining access to materials — the User confirms that they have fully reviewed these Terms and accept them in full.
1.3. If the User disagrees with the Terms, they must stop using the Service.
2. Nature of services and digital goods
2.1. The Service provides intangible digital services: processing (re-encoding) of video files for publishing to a WhatsApp status while preserving quality and compatibility, as well as delivery of the finished video to the User. The Service is not a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC and is not affiliated with them; “WhatsApp” is used solely to indicate compatibility.
2.2. The User acknowledges and agrees that the value of the service lies in the processing, preparation, maintenance, and support, and not in the exclusivity of individual features.
2.3. The Service does not claim or guarantee the uniqueness or unavailability of similar features outside the Service.
3. Disclaimer of warranties and liability
3.1. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” basis.
3.2. The Administration does not guarantee:
- that the Service will meet the User's expectations;
- the achievement of any particular results;
- uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Service, including the behavior of third-party platforms (including WhatsApp) during publishing.
3.3. The Administration is not liable for:
- any direct or indirect damages, including lost profits;
- consequences of the User's use of the received materials;
- acts or omissions of third parties;
- temporary technical failures and access limitations.
3.4. All decisions to use the services are made by the User independently and at their own risk.
4. Lawful use
4.1. The Service is not intended to encourage, organize, or facilitate unlawful activity.
4.2. The User undertakes to use the Service solely within applicable law and third-party rules, and to upload only content for which they hold all the necessary rights.
4.3. Responsibility for the lawful use of the Service's materials and services rests entirely with the User.
5. Intellectual property
5.1. All materials of the Service (design, source code, layout) are protected by intellectual property law and belong to the Administration. Rights to content uploaded by the User remain with the User.
5.2. The User may not copy, distribute, resell, or otherwise use the Service's materials without the rights holder's permission.
5.3. Infringement of intellectual property rights may result in restriction of access to the Service without compensation.
6. Restriction of access
6.1. The Administration may suspend or restrict the User's access to the Service in case of:
- violation of these Terms;
- detection of abuse;
- requirements of the law or payment providers.
6.2. Restriction of access does not release the User from obligations arising earlier.
6.3. The Administration reserves the right to refuse service to Users whose actions may create elevated risks for the Service, payment providers, or third parties.
6.4. Under high load on the Service or for technical reasons, the Administration may temporarily restrict the acceptance and processing of videos, including making this available only to Users with an active subscription. Such restrictions are temporary and do not constitute a denial of services already paid for.
7. Payments and refunds
7.1. Payment for services and digital goods is made on the terms stated in the Service prior to payment.
7.2. Due to the intangible nature of digital services, refunds are not provided after access has been granted, except in the cases stated below.
7.3. A refund is possible only if:
- the service was not rendered due to a technical fault of the Service;
- access to the digital good was not actually granted.
7.4. To request a refund, the User must contact support within 24 hours of payment.
7.5. The refund decision is made by the Administration on a case-by-case basis.
7.6. The User agrees not to initiate a payment chargeback through payment systems without first contacting the Service's support.
8. Referral program
8.1. The Service may offer a referral program allowing the User to earn rewards for inviting new users via a personal referral link.
8.2. A reward in the form of free video processings is granted to the inviting User provided that the invited user followed their referral link and received their first finished video through the Service. The reward for each invited user is granted once.
8.3. Attribution of an invited user to the inviting User is performed by technical means (browser cookies) and may fail when using incognito mode, clearing browser data, or opening the link on a different device. The Service does not guarantee that a referral will be counted in all cases.
8.4. Abuse of the referral program is prohibited, including creating fake accounts, self-referral, and any other actions aimed at obtaining a reward without genuinely attracting new users. Upon detecting abuse, the Administration may void the granted rewards and restrict access to the program or the Service.
8.5. The reward is a bonus, is not money, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be transferred to third parties, unless expressly provided otherwise by separate terms of a partner program.
8.6. The Administration may change the terms of the referral program, the reward amount, or terminate the program at any time. The current terms are published in the Service.
9. Confidentiality
9.1. The Administration may collect the minimum necessary technical data to operate the Service.
9.2. The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data but does not guarantee the absolute security of transmitted information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes to the Terms
10.1. The Administration may amend these Terms.
10.2. The current version of the Terms is published in the Service.
10.3. Continued use of the Service constitutes the User's agreement to the updated terms.
