Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and protection of users' information. We collect account identifiers, technical information, and interaction history. Data is used to operate the service, to communicate with the user, and for analytics. Sharing information with third parties is possible only in cases established by law or with the user's consent. Data is stored for as long as necessary and protected within reasonable limits. The user bears responsibility for the risks associated with transmitting data. The Administration may amend the Policy without notice — consent is deemed accepted by continued use of the service.

1. General provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs how information that the User provides when using the MiStatus service (the “Service”), including the website and the Telegram bot, is processed and protected. The operator of the Service is MiStatus (the “Administration”).

1.2. By using the Service, the User confirms their agreement with the Policy. If the User does not agree, they must stop using the Service.

2. Collection of information

2.1. The Service may collect the following types of data:

  • account identifiers (Telegram ID, username, WhatsApp number for video delivery, etc.);
  • technical information (IP address, browser, device, and operating system data);
  • interaction history with the Service;
  • uploaded video files — to provide the processing service;
  • referral data — a personal referral code and information about which user invited the User, for the operation of the referral program.

2.2. The Service does not require the User to provide passport data, documents, photos, or other personal information beyond the minimum necessary to operate. Uploaded video files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after the result is delivered or after the technical retention period expires.

3. Use of information

3.1. The Service may use the information received solely to:

  • operate its functionality;
  • communicate with the User (including notifications and support);
  • analyze and improve the Service.

4. Sharing information with third parties

4.1. The Administration does not share the data received with third parties, except where:

  • required by law;
  • necessary to fulfill obligations to the User (for example, when working with payment systems or delivering messages via the WhatsApp Business API provider);
  • the User has given their consent.

5. Data storage and protection

5.1. Data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing.

5.2. The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data but does not guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

6. Cookies and local storage

6.1. The Service uses cookies and browser local storage for the technical operation of the site (e.g., saving consent to a notice and sessions in protected sections) and for anonymous statistics. The User can disable cookies in their browser settings, but some features may then work incorrectly.

6.2. When the User follows a referral link, the Service stores a cookie in the browser containing the inviting user's referral code, in order to correctly attribute the referral when the User prepares their first video. This cookie contains no personal data and is stored for a limited time.

7. Disclaimer

7.1. The User understands and agrees that transmitting information over the internet always carries risks.

7.2. The Administration is not liable for the loss, theft, or disclosure of data if it occurred through the fault of third parties or the User themselves.

8. Changes to the Policy

8.1. The Administration may change the terms of the Policy without prior notice.

8.2. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes the User's agreement to the new version of the Policy.
